A well reputed "Elevator Company" is looking for an experienced "Deputy General Manager" with a strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
Job Description:
1. Develop & maintain strong working relationships with Clients, building owners, industry contacts, elevator consultants, regulatory agencies and corporate management.
2. Leads the development and implementation of an effective and cost-efficient strategy and roadmap to deliver on the operational mandate within expected parameters of quality and customer satisfaction.
3. Develops and implements strategic plans in line with the organizational objectives.
4. Maintains a strong working knowledge of the overall market area, including sales backlog, service and repair volume, market penetration, volume of outstanding bids, available new business, special projects, and staffing requirements and availability
5. Reviews market intelligence recommendations and communicates with executive team to ensure all departments are informed of the best practices.
6. Leads the development of the sales strategy and ensures its effective implementation in order to drive portfolio growth.
7. Drives the sales efforts with prospective leads to proactively seek sales opportunities and maintain client relationships.
8. Leads the sales co-ordination efforts with Functional Departments to build competitive sales pitches including pricing strategies.
Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business Administration/Management or equivalent (only to be substituted with extensive industry and management experience); or two years' experience managing on a branch departmental level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Master s degree in Engineering/Business Administration/Management is preferred
3. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Sales/Service/Department Management and managing operations in a construction/engineering organisation.
